Thomas Hirtz

Thomas Hirtz was born in Germany and is involved professionally in the construction project management, architecture & design industry for over 45 years in Canada. He has spent a considerable amount of time both underwater and above water, in wet-locations shooting film & stills. He has helped produce award winning films & stills for TDF Artists, Cousteau Team, Antiqua Tourist Board, and Puerto Rico Hotel Tourism. Shooting underwater photos since the late 1960's, He is an instructor trainer, evaluator ( SSI & PADI ) and was the first to have escorted dive groups to the Galapagos Islands, and continued escorting dive groups to destinations such as Belize, Fiji, Caymans, Dominica, and Bahamian islands. He has travelled and photographed destinations worldwide from India, throughout Europe & South America. None of his photographs are photo edited; they are shot with a digital manual camera and superb camera optics.
